The modules are back on the road again. Met up with Chad in Temple Texas and we each had our modules out at the Temple Model Train & RPM Show. First time in a LONG time I’ve put effort into them. Trip down to Temple was a fun (ha!) 2.5 hour drive.
So what’s new? These two short bridges are scratch built. Several times. Had the ones I wanted to use. Set them aside to cleanup. Next day (day before travel) couldn’t find them so had to rebuild them quickly and install. After install, what shows up while cleaning? Yup. Also got more trees from John’s H.O. & N Trees. The pines come from a former Z scaler that took down a module. The rest are from John.
Also DCC’d the locos. Along with NCE Powercab and WifiTrax WDF-30 allowed running the trains through my phone with Engine Driver. Here I’m running 3 trains at once. A bit hair raising, but fun. Need more space to run them!
Brought Levi along. He enjoyed running trains once he figured out a combination that would behave. Guess there is some work to do. Hmm, should have made a work list of cars that misbehaved. Maybe next time. We enjoyed the Centra-Mod layouts and live trains.
